About this Blog

The front of a wooden one-room schoolhouse. It is a white painted building with a black door at the center. It is framed by two green trees.

During the summers of 2011 and 2012, I interned for Loudoun County Public Schools to research its history. For fun, I wrote this blog for what I learned and the journey's progress. Since those two summers, I have used this blog intermittently to share and speak about local school news, as well as finish leftover projects.

Prior to my internship, I was a student of LCPS. I moved to Loudoun County halfway through kindergarten and attended Catoctin Elementary School. The next year, school boundary zones changed, and I was moved to the newly-opened Evergreen Mill Elementary School. For middle school, I attended Simpson Middle School. My high school was Loudoun County High School, where I was proudly part of the Class of 2010.
